HALL RENTAL AGREEMENT

I agree to the following Terms and Conditions for the rental/use (hereafter referred to as "the event") of the St. Joseph Young Men’s Society Banquet Hall (hereafter referred to as "the hall").

GENERAL        

Reservation deposit and rental fee must be paid before access to the hall is granted.  I understand that additional charges may apply as specified below.
I am liable for any damage to the facility, equipment, or property resulting from the event. Failure to meet all rental conditions will void this agreement, and the St. Joseph Young Men’s Society may reschedule and use the hall on the scheduled event date.
The maximum attendance for the event shall not exceed 110 persons at any time.
I am responsible for ensuring that noise levels during the event comply with the City of South Bend Noise Control Ordinance.
No person under 21 years of age will be served any form of alcoholic beverage. I am responsible for the conduct of my guests. Any violations will result in termination of the event.
No drinking outside the building or in the parking lots is permitted.  No outside alcoholic beverages allowed.
No smoking is allowed inside the building.
St. Joseph Young Men’s Society and its representatives shall not be held responsible for any bodily injury, property damages, or unlawful acts by me or by attendees of the event.
I am responsible for monitoring access to the event, and the door between the foyer and the hallway shall remain closed except when in use by attendees of the event or members of the St. Joseph Young Men’s Society and their guests.  Front door (facing Western Ave) is for emergency use only and shall not be used during the event.
St. Joseph Young Men’s Society is not responsible for lost or stolen items from the attendees of the event.
The hall must be vacated by 11:00 PM.

CLEANUP/DECORATIONS

I am responsible for cleaning up all decorations. Decorations must be hung using easily removable tape. No spray silly-string, confetti, glitter, nails, staples, or permanent adhesives are permitted. All decorations must be removed at the conclusion of the event.  The hall must be returned to its original condition.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT

An advance deposit of $200 is required to guarantee the hall reservation. Repair costs due to attendee actions and/or cleaning costs due to use of unapproved decorations will be deducted from the deposit, which will be returned if the hall is left in its original condition. Any repair costs exceeding the deposit amount will be added to the final bill.

HALL RENTAL FEE

The hall rental fee is $300.

ADDITIONAL TERMS

I agree to pay $25 per 15 minutes for any time the event extends outside the opening hours of the hall.
